Located a minute’s walk from Swansea’s train station, Down By Here is ideal for any occasion. From live music events to record fairs, networking evenings to wedding receptions, there aren’t really any events we wouldn’t feel comfortable in catering for.

There are two main hireable spaces for events - the bar (Down By Here) and the back room (Down By There). Or you can hire both if needed! We also have a number of other rooms available for hire as meeting rooms, and a rehearsal space for bands & performers.

We try to keep hire fees as low as possible in order to facilitate as many interesting events as possible. Where applicable hire fees vary on the type of event, day of the week and expected attendance.

For live music we have a full professional PA system, in-house sound engineers and a range of tech to cater to almost every need.

For functions we can provide a range of drink & food options, with a strong preference for working with local suppliers both to support the local economy and to ensure our carbon footprint remains as low as possible.
