“Those close to me will know by now that, from September, I’m delving back into the world of Musical Theatre, for a year on the MA course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama!

But as we all well know, the whole ‘living’ thing costs a bomb. To put it into perspective- the welcome grant I received, very generously, from the College and the Student Finance Wales allocation will only just about cover my course fees and the first term of rental/living costs. And I’m in the unfortunate position where I need more support to aid my studies.

I thought, rather than putting myself in the position where I’m just asking for cash, I’m going to host a fundraising gig- aimed at being more of a cheap, fun night out than a concert- where you are encouraged to drink, dance and sing along in a set inspired by visiting Cardiff and “the live lounge” in my late teens (if you know, you know …) I’ll be singing music by The Stereophonics, The Kooks, The ‘Chilli Peppers- and more!” - Evan.
