Creation Station is a space for artists, musicians, performers, filmmakers, writers, makers and other creatives to come together, work on ideas, meet people and collaborate.
We’re bringing creative technologists, visual artists, musicians, writers and engineers together for a day of creative synergy and collaboration. Spread over 3 rooms, there’ll be plenty to experiment with, from cutting edge tech to traditional mediums.
Bring something you’re already working on, start something new, find people to create with, or simply come along and see what happens.
There’s no fixed programme and no pressure to produce anything. You can drop in, leave and come back whenever you like during the day.
You’re welcome to bring your own creative work, instruments, laptop, sketchbook, ideas or anything else you might want to work with.
It’s completely free to attend, but please book a place so we have an idea of numbers.
Optional Workshops
We will be offering free to attend workshops on the day alongside the creative space. These will be limited in number to the nature of them so if you would like to attend please book your space below.
If you find you are unable to attend please could you cancel your ticket or let us know so we can offer the space to someone else.
Build Your Own Corner of the Internet - 11am
Toby Godden is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker and creative technologist who brings together art, technology and imagination.
Join Toby for a hands-on workshop exploring how to turn your ideas into something real using free AI tools. Create your own interactive web page or digital experience and leave with something you've made, live online and ready to share.
No coding experience needed.
Songwriting Workshop - 2pm
Ollie Snyder is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter whose music blends blues, folk, country and rock, with a passion for storytelling through song.
Join Ollie for a relaxed, creative songwriting workshop exploring how ideas, emotions and everyday experiences can become songs. Experiment with lyrics, melodies and finding your own musical voice.
No songwriting experience needed.

The bar opens to the public and Creation Station turns into a relaxed evening social with scheduled live performances.
You’re welcome to stay, have a drink, watch the performances, meet more people or head off whenever you like. There’s no obligation to stay for the evening.
